As a keen engineer, twenty-three year old James Royston finds himself finally free from working the cargo ships from London. James is employed as an Engineer Officer by world-renowned Cunard Steam Ship Company, and best of all on the almighty Queen Mary. Making good friends along the way, James works hard in the engine rooms, despite the inconvenient shift hours.
